What would you do during the Test design phase in STLC?

 Hello,

    In this blog, I'm going to explain What would you do during the Test design phase in STLC.

Test design:

    In the test design phase creation, review and update the  test cases as well as test scripts are done in this phase. The test cases prepared by the QA team are reviewed and approved.

    test data may also be created in this phase by the QA team if test environment is available to them.

Activities:

1. create test cases, automation scripts.

2. review and baseline test cases.

Entry Criteria: 

    The entry criteria into test case development or test design phase is the test plan and test strategy document which is duly completed. The resources will be allocated and the resource planning document will be updated. An automation test analysis report will also be created.

Exit Criteria: 

    All the test cases and test scripts are analyzed, reviewed and a baseline is created.
